The Seltos is the small Kia built around all-wheel drive, and nearly every one we stock has it. There are two engines: a 2.0-liter making 147 horsepower with a continuously variable transmission, and a 1.6-liter turbo making 190 horsepower with a conventional eight-speed automatic. The X-Line SX is turbo only, and it is the first Seltos offered with Snow, Mud and Sand terrain modes.

Two Seltos generations have been on the market together, so read the model year on the window sticker before you compare anything. The all-new Seltos has a 2.4-inch longer wheelbase, up to 8.1 inches of ground clearance, and 27.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, 64.2 with them folded. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster come on every trim. Kia does not publish a towing rating for the Seltos, so if you tow, look at a Sportage or Sorento.

From Teays Valley we are about 20 minutes east on I-64 at 335 MacCorkle Ave in South Charleston. Quotes, trade appraisals and test drive appointments can all be started online first. Pick your trim from the listings above and tell us the colors you would accept.

Buying a Kia Seltos at Dutch Miller Kia of Charleston: Common Questions

Can you get me a Kia Seltos that is not on the lot?

Yes. We can check other Kia stores for the configuration you want or place a factory order in your name, and we will give you a realistic timeline before you commit. Call 304-343-7700 with the trim and the two or three colors you would accept.

Does the Kia Seltos come with all-wheel drive?

Yes, and it is standard on X-Line S and X-Line SX. LX, S and EX start front-drive with all-wheel drive available. Nearly everything we stock is all-wheel drive, and those cars get a multilink rear suspension in place of the front-driver's torsion beam.

Can I trade in my current vehicle on a Kia Seltos?

Usually, and finding out costs nothing. Take a free KBB Instant Cash Offer and bring it with you, or let us appraise your car while you test drive. If you still owe on it, we handle the payoff.

Which Seltos engine suits a Putnam County commute?

The 2.0-liter makes 147 horsepower and suits steady driving without long climbs. The 1.6-liter turbo makes 190 horsepower and is the better engine if your drive includes hills or interstate merging. The X-Line SX comes only with the turbo.

Can I get financing for a Kia Seltos with imperfect credit?

Yes. We work with Kia Motors Finance as well as local banks and credit unions, including programs built for thin or imperfect credit. Use the payment calculator to set your own limit, then send a secure pre-approval. It takes minutes and commits you to nothing.

Can I get my Kia Seltos serviced at your South Charleston store after I buy?

Yes. Our service department is in the same building as the showroom, open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, and you can schedule service online from home.
