The Telluride is Kia's biggest SUV, and it now comes in a redesigned generation. The 3.8-liter V6 is gone. In its place is a 2.5-liter turbo making 274 horsepower and 311 lb-ft, and a Telluride Hybrid using the same engine with an electric motor for 329 horsepower and 339 lb-ft. EPA estimates are 35 mpg combined for the front-drive hybrid EX, against 22 for the front-drive gas model and 20 with all-wheel drive. Gas tows 5,000 pounds properly equipped, the hybrid 4,500.

Second-row legroom is 43.0 inches and third-row legroom is 32.1. The LX and the gas EX seat eight, while every other gas trim and the whole hybrid lineup seat seven with captain's chairs. Read the trims by drivetrain: the SX is front-drive only, the SX-Prestige is all-wheel drive only, and the hybrid is not all-wheel drive as standard.

We are at 335 MacCorkle Ave in South Charleston, about 20 minutes down I-64 from Teays Valley, and the Telluride is a good one to drive before you decide between gas and hybrid. If the trim and color you want is not on the lot, we can check other Kia stores or place a factory order.

Buying a Kia Telluride at Dutch Miller Kia of Charleston: Common Questions

Can you get me a Kia Telluride that is not on the lot?

Yes. We can check other Kia stores for the configuration you want or place a factory order in your name, and we will give you a realistic timeline before you commit. Call 304-343-7700 with the trim and the two or three colors you would accept.

How many passengers does the Kia Telluride seat?

Eight on the LX and the gas EX, and seven with captain's chairs on every other gas trim and on the whole hybrid lineup. Second-row legroom is 43.0 inches and third-row legroom is 32.1.

Can I trade in my current vehicle on a Kia Telluride?

Usually, and finding out costs nothing. Take a free KBB Instant Cash Offer and bring it with you, or let us appraise your car while you test drive. If you still owe on it, we handle the payoff.

Does the Kia Telluride Hybrid have all-wheel drive?

Not as standard. The hybrid EX and SX offer front-wheel drive, while X-Line SX, SX-Prestige and X-Line SX-Prestige are all-wheel drive. Ask us to confirm the drivetrain on a specific stock number.

Can I get financing for a Kia Telluride with imperfect credit?

Yes. We work with Kia Motors Finance as well as local banks and credit unions, including programs built for thin or imperfect credit. Use the payment calculator to set your own limit, then send a secure pre-approval. It takes minutes and commits you to nothing.

Can I get my Kia Telluride serviced at your South Charleston store after I buy?

Yes. Our service department is in the same building as the showroom, open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, and you can schedule service online from home.
